New Ulm Medical Center Foundation
The New Ulm Medical Center Foundation is a nonprofit organization which exists to enhance the health of New Ulm Medical Center patients and the wellness of the communicites we serve. Our organization provides a vehicle for area community members who want to sustain New Ulm Medical Center’s mission through donations, memorials or bequests. All activities and funds are dedicated exclusively to supporting and providing for area medical needs and to improve the physical and mental well-being of the area’s residents.

The NUMC Foundation Advisory Board selects priorities for our fundraising efforts each year that are aligned with our community's health and medical center needs. The following projects are the Foundation's primary focus for 2010, however, donations are accepted and needed in every area at New Ulm Medical Center. Nursing Scholarships
Scholarships are available for the 2010-11 school year for students who are interested in the medical field. All applications are due by March 1.
The Mary E. Paquay Scholarship is available through the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation to a resident in the New Ulm, St. George or West Newton area who will be entering an accredited nursing degree program this fall at a post secondary institution and intends to pursue a career at New Ulm Medical Center. A $2,500 scholarship will be given to one recipient entering a nursing program. Mary E. Paquay Scholarship Application
The Ozias Scholarship Fund is available through the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation to students entering their second year into an accredited nursing degree program this fall at a post secondary institution. The Physicians Group of New Ulm Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from New Ulm High School, Cathedral High School or Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School who are interested in a career in the medical field. Five $500 scholarships will be awarded. Applications can be received at local high school guidance offices or by calling Anna Bastian at 507-233-1400.
The Brown County Medical Society Scholarship is available to graduating seniors who are a resident of Brown County and are interested in a career in the medical field. Three $400 scholarships will be awarded. Applications can be received at local high school guidance offices or by calling Anna Bastian at 507-233-1400.

Memorials or Tributes – Recognize loved ones, healthcare providers or special occasions.
Long Term securities – It is a significant advantage to give stocks in lieu of cash gift.
Planned giving – You may give a gift through your will, life income plans, beneficiary designation, insurance, property and/or trusts.
Endowment Giving – You may make a gift and restrict the use to earning of the initial principal.
